The history of South, Southeast, and East Asia is studied in this topic through the lenses of three themes: sustainability, tradition, and modernization & globalisation. We shall be led throughout the topic by these three topics. Through drawings, infographics, research posters, and oral presentations, we intend to increase our understanding of Asian architecture and urbanisation and interpret the language of Asian architecture.

Reflection
In this last project of Theories of Asian Architecture, i lave learned a lot especially working with new friends. After this project, i am able to describe the historical development of vernacular architecture in the Asian region that responded to the indigenous contexts as well as be able to interpret significant issues in relation to the development of contemporary Asian architecture based on the themes of traditional, modernity and globalisation. It was my first time doing this research poster as well. We were able to identify the adaptive reuse of traditional architecture in Jalan Sultan, Kuala Lumpur.
